Community standards

Make the conversation worth having.

VARTA welcomes curiosity, critical questions and good-faith disagreement. Contributions should help people learn rather than mislead, intimidate or exploit them.

Do

  • Be civil and discuss the idea, not attack the person.
  • Provide sources for factual, scientific, historical, medical or current-affairs claims where practical.
  • Identify opinion, personal experience, tradition and speculation as such.
  • Credit creators and use material you have permission to share.
  • Correct errors when credible new information emerges.

Do not

  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against or target people.
  • Post private information, impersonate others or expose credentials.
  • Publish scams, phishing, malware, repetitive spam or deceptive promotions.
  • Upload content you do not own or have permission to use.
  • Present unsupported claims as verified facts or promise guaranteed cures or returns.

Sources and claims

Prefer primary sources, peer-reviewed research, official data and reputable reference works. A citation supports only what it actually says. VARTA's automated moderation is not a fact-checking system and may miss harmful content or flag harmless content.

Moderation and appeals

Content may be held, limited or removed when it appears to violate these standards or applicable law. Automated checks can be wrong; the platform should provide a human review path as the service matures. Do not assume that an automated approval means content is accurate, lawful or free of copyright issues.

Commercial content

Disclose sponsorships, affiliate relationships and other material commercial interests clearly. Do not disguise advertisements as independent editorial content. Paid partnerships cannot purchase a favourable conclusion or a guaranteed audience.

Report a concern

For now, contact the operator through the VARTA contact profile. Include the page or post link and a concise explanation; avoid sharing unnecessary private information. A dedicated in-product reporting and appeal flow should be added before the community scales.
