Privacy notice
This page explains the intended privacy approach for VARTA. It is a plain-language notice, not legal advice. It must be kept aligned with the platform's actual code, hosting, database configuration and any third-party services before VARTA invites a wider audience.

Information that may be processed
- Account information: information needed to create and authenticate an account, handled in part by the configured authentication provider.
- Contributions: posts, replies, profile details and uploaded media that you choose to submit. Published contributions may be visible to other visitors.
- Technical and security records: service logs and diagnostic information may be processed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.
- Moderation data: submitted text or metadata may be sent to automated moderation services to assess policy risks. These checks are imperfect and are not a factual verification service.
How information is intended to be used
To operate accounts and publishing features, display contributions, protect the service from abuse, troubleshoot faults, enforce community rules and improve reliability. Information should not be collected for unrelated purposes without appropriate notice and a valid basis.
Public contributions
Do not publish passwords, authentication tokens, private contact details, financial account information or another person's private information. Content you publish may be copied or indexed by others. Removing a post from VARTA may not remove copies or search caches elsewhere.
Service providers and sharing
VARTA uses third-party infrastructure, including GitHub Pages for website hosting and Supabase for backend services. Features may also use third-party moderation or embedded services. Those providers process data under their own terms and policies. The operator should verify the exact services, retention settings and data flows before launch.
VARTA's stated policy is not to sell members' personal data. Data may still be processed by infrastructure providers or disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service, subject to applicable law.
Retention, security and your choices
Retention depends on the data type, operational needs, provider configuration and applicable law. Use the account controls available in the product to manage your profile where supported. For a privacy request, contact the site operator through the current VARTA contact profile and describe the request without sending passwords or secrets.
Children and sensitive information
Do not use VARTA to post sensitive personal information or information about children. The operator should publish age-appropriate rules and comply with applicable privacy and child-safety requirements before enabling access for children.
Updates and important limitation
This notice may change as features are added. Before commercial launch, the operator should review the actual data flow, cookie/analytics use, moderation provider terms, user deletion process, applicable Indian law and any requirements in the countries served. Do not treat this page as proof that all legal or technical compliance steps are complete.
